Juice – Lunar Earth Flyby: Perspectives from Navigation, Science & Radiation

This third Europlanet Juice webinar consists of three short talks: Angela Dietz, spacecraft operations engineer at ESA/ESOC, talks about the Lunar Earth Gravity Assist, or LEGA, from a navigational and operational point of view. Claire Vallat, science operations scientist for the Juice mission at ESA/ESAC, talks about the LEGA from a science instruments point of view. Marco Pinto, research fellow at the Radiation Hardness Assurance and Component Analysis section at ESA/ESTEC talks about radiation, how can be a show stopper for space exploration and what we do to monitor it on Juice.
