The concept of open science has been around for some time and more and more researchers engage with it. There are several initiatives of specific interest to our planetary science community and in this webinar some will be presented.
Alessandro Frigeri (INAF, Italy), will introduce Open Science and its implications for our planetary science community.
Nicolas Manaud (SpaceFrog Design, France), will introduce the OpenPlanetary non-profit organisation that promotes and facilitates the open practice of planetary science and data analysis for research professionals.
Mark Wieczorek (OCA, Nice, France) will talk about the initiative for the Diamond Open Access Journal baptised Planetary Research that is in full swing now.
